I have an App that I want to upgrade without my customers having to
uninstall and reinstall. I am using InstallShield Express version 4.0 and
have generated a Product Code (GUID) for the previous version as well as an
Upgrade Code (GUID). For the upgrade version, I have left the Upgrade Code
the same; but, changed the version number and the Produce Code (GUID).
Everything seems to work like it is upgrading the program, but when I look
at Add/Remove Programs, there are two installs of the same program. Also,
the new files do not get copied to the directory that is specified in the
install setup. What am I missing, besides having the wrong install program.

I found the combination. The Installshield instructions seem to suggest
that you leave the upgrade code the same and change the product code. I
found that when you change both, the old files are uninstalled and new files
installed automatically. This is what I wanted to happen.
